Bandai Visual USA @ Anime Expo (07:10 PM EDT): Bandai Visual USA has made a few announcements at Anime Expo:
  • Super Robot Wars Original Generation - The Animation OVA has been licensed (3 episodes on one DVD) with a planned October release

    • Thanks to everyone who both worked on and watched this series. We will be pulling it
    to make way for the commercial release. If you enjoyed it, please consider buying the DVD.

    Splash fixes and other changes

    -The audio problem that the splashes cause should be fixed for all future episodes. Now you can watch your reencoded show on TV without clipping out the splash!

    -Forums are now viewable without registering, but if you register you can join us in our intellectual and cultured discussions, what what. Anyway, try out the new T-N forums, now with 95% less bannings.

    - T-N now has PR people/e-mail answerers/forum mods. The whole program is new, so if anyone has any feedback or ideas for improvements, let me know.

    -We might have a new tracker in about 2-3 week. Please don't upload our shows without asking us first, it's just common courtesy. Really, please stop asking if the tracker is down XD

    Don't pay for our subs 

    I got this in the e-mail today:

    "narutofan.com is using your fan sub and charging for it to be used just

    thought you may like to know that plus they do it for a lot of other
    animes..... you may want to tell other fan sub sites about this because
    i find it really sicking...."

    If you pay for something that we're basically giving out for free, then that's your choice.  But we don't support this site and it is kind of lame that they are profiting off other people's works. Remember, we're giving it away for FREE.

    Help! Tv-nihon needs a bittorrent tracker

    As some of you have noticed, our tracker's been dead for about a week now. I haven't been able to contact the owner yet, but from what I hear, we might need temporary solutions now that may result in needing more permanent solutions later on. If you know of any good torrent hosts or own a tracker and want to lend your services to tvnihon, please let us know.

    I've created a thread in our forums for submitting suggestions and discussing what would be the most optimal solution for #tv-nihon's torrenting needs.

    Torrent page... about

    Through highly scientific methods and thorough deduction we have come to the conclusion that perhaps the bittorrent page is down. Using these same methods, we hope to discover that it be up some time in the future. If only if there were some take-home kit that would allow people to test this for themselves from the safety of their homes.
