Yo, someone mentioned that there might be more RyuKenDo than what we've put out. Something about a Twin Edge God GekiRyuKen thing. Thing is, I don't know anything about that. If someone can tell me more about it, where I can find a raw, etc, please post it in the RyuKenDo forums

7th Anniversary Release: RyuKenDo Specials



Sorry for the delay in posting, Blogger was down

To finish up our anniversary, we're going to top it off with a big, large, huge RyuKenDo batch of fun

RyuKenDo is a very unique series. Neither Sentai nor Kamen Rider, RyuKenDo is what I consider to be the perfect third party tokusatsu series. It made you laugh when it wanted. It gripped you with its drama. It made you care about the people in the little town of Akebono and the heroes that protect them

First, thank you to the donators who have given to us. The bonus footage from the final disc wouldn't have been possible without you, so that stuff's dedicated to you guys. Then to all the people who've worked on RyuKenDo past and present

So we've got:
Music video and live performance for Everybody Goes by Aikawa Nanase (also known for singing themes for Kamen Rider Blade and Keitai Sousakan 7)

The first opening sung by Kitadani Hiroshi (also known for singing Ryuki and many other tokusatsu songs and for being a member of Jam Project)

And the last disc special which includes the non-credit op/ed from the RyuKenDo CD. I won't spoil the contents, but if you're a RyuKenDo fan, let's just say it gives a little epilogue for the series

There's nothing left to say besides, #TV-Nihon loves RyuKenDo. Anything else that needs to be said, doesn't need to be said

Perhaps some exposition is necessary. Today's a special day, so we're doing some special rereleases for them. We did the same thing the last couple of years, it's more often than not just one offs. So please enjoy this look back in higher quality!

For those wondering, we did go back and re-qc the videos and updated them to match the rest of the series, so it's not just slapping our scripts on HD/DVD videos

We're slowly going through and getting rid of your accounts. In a few weeks they'll all be gone

That doesn't matter, because you can still connect to the tracker anonymously. Please do not e-mail or go to the forums asking where your account is

The reasoning is that we have no reason to keep track of that information

Plus, W 3 and Shinkenger 30 torrents will be back tomorrow. I'm just taking them down for now because that's where most people seem to be getting hit with the copyright letter infringements

Missing Tracker profile?

Don't panic. I'm just going through and deleting people's accounts. We don't have any reason to keep track of that info and in light of the privacy issues that are going around, it seems like a smart move.

Really, just log out of your account and don't use it. You can still connect to our torrents and there's one less vector of information. No promises, but Q our tech guy is looking into stuff to beef up your anonymity. But anything you guys can do to protect yourselves is also good

More about the Bay TSP threatening letters thing

Spinelsun made an interesting observation that so far, the letters are only in regards to W and Shinkenger (current shows) and even more interesting just HD releases. Has anyone received a letter for stuff besides that?

Also, please give feedback on how you guys are finding the IP blocking programs

I also wrote a short post with the results of my 5 minute searching on Google in regards to the claims that people are receiving letters from Bay TSP for using our tracker. Check it out Unfortunately, it'll have to be people's jobs to protect their privacy. It's not something we can do on our end

So what are people watching this fall season? Personally, I've been pretty into Glee over the last week. I was turned on to it by the SLOT(Sex lives of teenagers)/Those F***ing teenagers podcast a spinoff of the overthinkingit podcast.

Pretty good stuff. Attractive people who sing is always good, but the thing I notice most when discussing this show with people is that they note Jane Lynch is in the show, and she's a terrific antagonist. Every great show has a great antagonist, and she's a delight to watch in her attempts to destroy the glee club. Got a thread going about it here.

I got the picture for this front page from http://www.fanpop.com/ which seems to have a great collection of wallpapers for shows. Took a look at the Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicle section, saw what appeared to be a fanmade third season trailer. The wallpaper itself appears to be from http://www.entertainmentwallpaper.com/ I could probably spend hours scouring sites for interesting pictures, so I always appreciate aggregators like this


I've been plugging this video all week as well. It's Moskau (Moscow) by the group Dschinghis Khan which is German for Genghis Khan. It's a pretty addictive song, check that out too

Also, check out the podcast thingy that people on the forums are working on

DekaPink marries RedRacer in December

Yes guys, it looks like she's no longer available. Kikuchi Mika (25) is set to marry Kishi Yuuji (39) on December 4th. The event will be held at Tokyo Dome Hotel, the holy ground for Sentai events

When asked about marrying someone 14 years her senior, Kikuchi shyly said "He's a very serious and courageous, reliable person. He's very tall and manly."

They met in '07 when they worked together on Les Miserables. Kikuchi played Cosette while Kishi played Enjolras.

Oct 22nd last year, during the last show of Les Miserables, he asked her to marry him. Receiving the ring, Kikuchi said "it'd be nice if our family could play sentai"

Kishi's comment was "After 40 years, I finally have the ultimate partner. I plan to devote myself more to my work."

-Shoutarou is based on Ishinomori's first name (Decade's Kuuga's family name is basd on Onodera, Ishinomori's original family name)
-Philip is based on Philip Marlowe from The Long Goodbye. Shou has a Japanese and an English copy on his bookshelf
