Revisionist History
Here at TN, we often like to be on top of new shows, but we like all our shows so much, a part of us can't let go of them.
As a result, I don't think it spoils anything to say that we have some work going on in the background to redo some series in HD. Also, you might see a lot more batching of series to fix the problem with single torrents going unseeded.
And that's kind of what I want to talk about today. We're reencoding some episodes for batches to fix some old problems. But obviously we can't do that for all our old shows.
However, we can do some minor fixes, like the correction of the aspect ratio just requires rewriting the header. The only problem is that this changes the CRC and the file name. So people with old files can't seed, you can't fix a file through bittorrent if it's become corrupted, etc. Basically your old files will be unsupported old news. I'm sure there's many repercussions that I haven't even thought of.
One thing I would like is to also rename the old files so that there aren't 3-4 different naming schemes in a single series. Again, this kind of screws over anyone who wants to help seed if they've got their files burned to DVD or something
How do people feel about this? Should we make these kind of small fixes in the batches?

Help #TV-Nihon or giant gundam will eat you
It's time to rebatch stuff yet again. If you have these files (you can see the complete list on the tracker) can you create a torrent for us? The batches should use a folder name that matches the first part of the file name (like Blade would be in a folder [T-N]Kamen_Rider_Blade )

Batch time again
That show with that guy from Ryuki and that other guy from Ryuki and that lady from the Blade movie and that girl (not pictured) from that Fuuma show all in the same show with a lot of touching drama and fun comedy and serious business. Batch 2 is up, grab it now if you haven't before. Includes the director's cut for 19-20, the super artistic story by the director of Ghost in the Shell.
Keitai Sousakan means Cellphone Investigation Bureau in case we never actually translated that anywhere before. Now you know!
Edit: The non DC versions of 19-20 will remain on the tracker a bit longer. Note that they are not included in the batch. Completists, get them now!
One of our favorite Kamen Rider shows now has a batch for your convenience and her pleasure. (It's another boring Rider show about cards. They're all pretty bad, don't watch them. Obviously if it's about cards that means there can't be anything appealing to an adult in them.)

If you were on the deleted torrents, just start up the new batch torrent. Stop the torrent. Copy your partial transfers into the batch folder. Then restart the torrent, it should resume your download
Also, I'm cleaning up Kamen Rider the Next. Apparently I didn't do so when the batch was made

Episode Final: Kamen Rider Ryuki Movie DC released
Obligatory warning
I'm just going to lift this from Phoenix's post. This movie may spoil the end of the Ryuki series. The first thing the movie tells you is that it takes place at the end of 2002. Just look at the name, it's not a misnomer, people. Some Riders and some story elements are revealed before they appear in the TV series. If this bothers you, you might want to save it till later to watch

We've got batch torrents! Go-Onger, Trick, and Keitai have all been put in batches, so go grab them while they're seeded! (As usual, if you've already got them partially downloaded, simply put them in the new batch folder to resume)
For those of you who don't go to our forums, have you seen our Random Pictures thread, Funny Videos thread, or the misc entertainment forums that aren't related to our shows?
Also, it looks like we hit our donation mark. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
By the way, clicking the new logo takes you to a welcome area channel. The reason it does this is because some of the regulars in our real channel complained that too many people join/parted spammed or whatnot. Feel free to screw around however you like in that channel.
