Onmyou Taisenki - In progress
Transformers Galaxy Force

I really would like someone to add at least Galaxy Force so Transformer fans don't have to watch the bad chop job dub. There's a very polite thread requesting this too, so it certainly will get some use if someone uploads it

Also, I'd like to plug Shadowneko's highly organized and consistenly updated thread that brings sanity to our madness. All our series in alphabetical order by title.

Speaking of madness, there are only so many topic threads that can be displayed in our ddl forum. Please don't create new threads of basically nonsense, since that pushes the series threads onto the second page (we're actually just 3-4 threads into the second page now) Use the respond button or if it's off topic, go to a different forum (technical help forums, feedback forums, episode discussion forums)

If we can keep things organized, it'll be better for everyone. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the direct download forums. It's all you guys. It's all your fault! I mean it's thanks to all of you!

Awesome

Thanks to nice guys Manabu and Raaen, MRR and Zoids Genesis batches are up. No seeds yet, but I might seed what I can of the second batch later. If you wait long enough, a seed always shows up.

I also notice we're missing Kuuga. Can I get that and Sazer-X batches now? Thanks!

Please resume files for batches rather than starting over. Start the batch, copy over any partially complete files into that folder, then restart the torrent. The files should resume from where you left out. Please do not start from scratch since that wastes resources

Torrents rebuilding, almost 100% done

Still need the following series:

Zoids Genesis: 19+

Sazer-X: All of it

It also might be worth batching up MRR since the episodes are already beginning to get unseeded. Can someone do a DVD size batch of the series with the promo in the first batch and Mugenbine in the last?

Don't forget to help seed, if you enjoyed a show, why not show some love by giving it to strangers?

Machine Robo Mugenbine

Machine Robo Rescue 52-53

And the countdown is over. Here on #tv-nihon's fifth birthday is the last episodes of MRR.

Unfortunately this was left out on the DVD release. But this really is the real ending to Machine Robo Rescue, and sort of acts as an epilogue to the show.

#tv-nihon is Five Years Old today

I'm sure most of you have noticed certain unexplainable phenomenons pertaining to this old gal we call #tv-nihon. Indeed, for an event as mathematically favorable as the number five, something special must be done! And so, we have gathered ghosts from history's past to help us celebrate this day, for they give us hope or some junk like that.

It's pretty amazing how many accomplishments TN has made. Machine Robo Rescue was our first major anime. Kamen Rider Faiz was what really marked us on the map in the toku fandom. Deka was our first Super Sentai. Galaxy Force was a Transformers anime that followed Super Link. This doesn't even count the Jdorma and other misc kinds of things we've subbed. Our group kind of exists between fandoms, our staff our fans of our shows, and we're fans of our own work. For the fans by the fans.

By gazing backwards upon our rich history, let that give us power and strength to take reinvigorated steps forward towards the unavoidable future ahead of us.

Let's face it, five years is a long time for a fansub group to stay together. Thank you to everyone who's helped bring #tv-nihon to this point. Here's to another five years.

Celebrate with us here

MRR 49 and TF Galaxy Force 1 released

Several small torrents up

First we've got the MagiRanger last batch up. It's one of my favorite Sentai series, so I highly recommend grabbing that if you haven't already.

Then we've also got the Galaxy Force promo (no reason)

And finally we have the aptly timed Machine Robo Rescue promo. Because... putting the promo as bonus footage on the last DVD of the series makes total sense. Really.

Anyway, here's Starscream:

We'd also like to present #tv-nihon's first complete Sentai series, Tokusou Sentai DekaRanger. This show had everything to me. Intriguing characters, great designs for both suits, equipment, and mecha. Amusing stories and some of the best Sentai music that I've heard. Psychic Lover sings their opening as well as some of the interim songs, which really made some of the episodes as great or as exciting as they were.

First off as alot of you have seen our bt page has shrunk. We have batched up a bunch of completed series such as PGSM and MRR and Faiz. Others have been batched up as well. We did this to help out our bt host. Those of you that don't like it please keep it to yourself. Any email about this will be deleted. And anyone that makes forum posts will be banned from the forums. With that said we are releasing DekaRanger episode 27. It is on the bt page and on fservs in the irc channel.

Series..Complete. We have released Machine Robo Rescue Episodes 52-53. This is a double ep special. Machine Robo Rescue was our first anime project. It is by no means a "popular" anime with downloaders, but it is dear to our hearts. Near everyone in tv-nihon loves this show. It is one of,if not the best anime's I have ever seen. I want to thank everyone that has taken part in helping sub and release this wonderful series. And for the fans who download we hope you enjoy these final two episodes.

Jun 28, 2004

Hi! It's Cyberdramon. Sorry, the BT site is still down. I promise it'll be up soon and we're not up to any funny business. It just simply died for a reason I don't yet know...but what I know is that it'll definitely be back before we release the next PGSM (Achaaa~)

Now... I have something to share with you guys... It may nor may not be a secret but there are two things I love outside of fansubbing. Transformers and Spider-Man. Go figure, right? Okay... So there's a reason for this. In 1978 Marvel studios teamed up with Toei for a few things. One of the things that was birthed out of this relationship was a SPIDER-MAN Television show. This show was a little different from all the other incarnations of Spider-man you've probably seen. Though radically different it tells the tale of a man who must come to terms with a great power set upon him by AMAZING circumstances and his responsibility while having that power. The story takes place in Japan and thus is subject to much of the uniqueness one would expect for a SPECTACULAR story setting. First off... Our hero, Yamashiro Takuya, comes across his power from a race of aliens. From the planet Spider, no less. This awesome bracelet is given to him by the last survivor of this planet and he is entrusted to protect the earth from the Iron Cross Army. Takuya has at his employ, in addition to his spider powers, a flying car known as Spider Machine GP-7 and a giant starcraft known as the Marveller. When combined, both units create the giant robot that Spider-man can pilot known as Leopardon.

It's of historical value to note that this was the first show in Japan to use the "fight the monster at a normal size then it grows big and you have to call our your giant mecha to kick it's ass...again" formula that has become popular most noticeable in Super Sentai.

So...okay. Why have I told you all this? Well... I want to subtitle this show and share it with everyone. How am I going to do that? That's where I need a little help. ^^; Toei has just announced this series to be released in a DVD Box Set. Unfortunately , like most Japanese DVD's, they want quite a bit of money for it. So I'm asking maybe even a mere 1/8th of the people who visit this site to find it in their hearts to make me and many other fans very happy by assisting us in getting source for this series to fansub. I know there's a lot of you out there that probably love Spider-man like I do and this is an awesome chance to contribute to another cool series to see the English subtitled light.

There is no release date currently on that page so I imagine it won't be released for a couple months or more (Like September-ish?) but I hope a few of you out there don't mind parting with a few bucks via paypal. The total cost for the DVD will be around $450 USD (Given current exchange rates). There's about five thousand people that visit this website everyday... If only 450 of you contributed a dollar we'd be set. ^_^

So I'm sorry for rambling, but I hope you guys understand I'm very excited!!! So...uh...yeah... Thanks for reading!!! :D
